Respinning everything to zero on Duck Hunters.

Respinning everything to zero on Duck Hunters.

There’s no game I’ve spent more time playing than Duck Hunters, so it’s no surprise this is the second video we’ve made on it. The first was filmed a few months ago and centered around a simple challenge: 1,000 base spins in Duck Hunters without using a single respin. We finished the session well in profit, thanks in large part to an early 700x hit.

Despite ending up ahead, I still felt like there was another challenge worth testing. What would happen if we respun every single win until the game wouldn't let us anymore? Would it pay off with massive wins? Would the slot somehow loosen up and start dropping bigger multipliers more often? Would I finally hit a max win from a base spin?

Before I spoil the results, check out the video below and see how it all played out.

⚠️ Spoiler Alert Below ⚠️

It was a disaster.

Respinning itself wasn't the problem. The problem was committing to respinning every single win until we either reached zero or the slot refused to offer another respin.

Early in the session, we landed a decent hit that snowballed into a monster win after a couple of respins over 1,000x. Unfortunately, the respins eventually gave most of it back. From that point onward, both the base spins and the respins struggled to produce anything significant and slowly drained the balance.

While this wasn't a large enough sample size to draw any definitive conclusions, my overall experience with Duck Hunters tells a similar story. Based on everything I've played, respinning too often has done far more damage than good. My advice is to use the respin feature sparingly and only when it feels worthwhile.

Maybe next time we'll film another session where I use the respin feature in moderation and see whether that strategy produces better long-term results.

Until then, this is ArtC the Duck Hunter signing off.

🦆 See you next time! 🫡
