I remember the first time I played Home of the Brave. It was roughly a year ago, and someone had just won 100k on it. I messaged the winner immediately and they suggested I try the Satan Spin- a boosted spin at 333X base cost that fills the reels with symbols and a launch button that acts as a wild.
At 66 dollars a pop these 20 cent base spins were not cheap but I spun it a few times anyway and eventually a MAGA hat appeared on the conveyor belt at the top of the game board. I was taken to THE CAP WIN MACHINE and given a Yellow Cap that gave me the max win of 61466X the base bet. A nice 12K stimulus that I immediately wiped off my balance after several failed god mode attempts. Brutal!! but I was hooked. I went on to spend the next few weeks playing the game and ended up achieving 4 of my largest wins ever- see image below.
What I loved about Home of the Brave and the Satan Spins specifically was despite their high cost- 333x base- it felt like you could sustain a nice run of spins for a solid attempt at the max win. I would regularly play 30 minutes to 1 hour sessions in search of a MAX WIN and although there were periods where my balance would diminish greatly, I would always end up with a good hit to keep me pushing towards my goal.
Eventually as time went to pass so would my luck, and these days I rarely attempt Satan Spins. Something feels different about them. Even when I get the typical tower and 2 planes set up, I don’t hit max and grinding the game doesn’t work out for me like it used to. So I decided to record my efforts at hitting another max win to find out once and for all if Home of the Brave Satan Spins are still worth the effort of grinding.
That brings us to the current YouTube challenge- linked below. What I set out to do in this video was to spin 100 Satan Spins or until I hit MAX WIN. The first attempt went embarrassingly bad, with my balance dropping quicker than Wiley Coyote to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. But somehow, despite confirming my suspicion- that I simply had an insanely lucky run in August of 2025- I came back the following week and recorded additional footage with a replenished balance. The results weren’t quite as bad but weren’t successful either.
So what is the verdict? Are Satan Spins worth it?
Well, if you’re expectation is to be able to keep spinning for a long period of time in hopes of hitting a max win, you better come with a fat balance, because this game can send you broke quicker than Duck Hunter Day Spins. But if you fancy popping into Home of the Brave from time to time do a couple of Satan Spins, I think you’ll find it fun and rewarding. Especially if one of those times you do indeed get the fabled Twin Towers with 2 Planes MAX WIN. $66 to over $12K in one spin is an awesome rush and No Limit is the best at entertaining you while you play.
Here are some of my observations from my biggest wins in Home of the Brave:
1. If you are getting several dead spins in a row, it’s best to quit the game and try again later. This was the case during my video session but for the sake of science I spun until 0. Sure, there are times where I have hit MAX WIN after a batch of dead spins but more often than not my successful wins came during a session where I was getting more hits than not. In fact, I had sessions where I would hit MAX WIN several times in less than 100 spins. Take a look at the jpeg of my wins above and you’ll see that I hit 2 of my biggest wins on the same day.
2. I regularly would increase my bet size after a couple dead spins and would retreat to a smaller bet size once I got a good hit. This is how I ended up with those massive wins. 2 steps forward, 1 step back. I did a little dance and the game seemed to respond well to it. This is by no means a fool proof method of winning, it simply is what I did during my epic run.
3. I’ve had several MAX WINS on my first spin after opening the game. And to be frank this is the way I recommend you attempt Satan Spins. Pop the game open from time to time, go for one spin and move on to the next game. This keeps you from rinsing your balance and some of my best wins came early in my sessions.
